...

I came to London in 2004 and have been here ever since. New chapter of my life began. I met people who promote Polish music, who bring bands and artists over here. I photographed Kult, Anna Maria Jopek, Voo Voo, Maciej Malenczuk, Myslovitz, Aleksandra Kurzak, Mumio, Fisz. My photos are being published in the Polish media in the UK, ie: Cooltura, Nowy Czas, Antymedia, Goniec Polski, Londynek.net, Moja Wyspa.

It is a thrill getting ready for events, and music sessions and also to be close to the action and wait for the right moment. But, as I quickly found out, the most important kind of photography is this one happening on the streets. Why? Well because when I'm out there with my camera, I feel the life that is going on around me. I can feel that my photos create new meaning for simple things. I search for and catch these little moments, which are not always easily noticeable.

There are people who I really respect. I appreciate a lot of members of In-Public, and my favourite classics are Robert Doisenau and Henri Cartier-Bresson. Myself, I managed to have one solo exhibition (Titchy Gallery, London, August 2007), few group exhibitions ("Music and Photography", White Eagle Club, London, June 2006; "Przylondek", Posk, London, 2006; "Photography", Rhythm Factory, London, 2007) including the prestigious City Hall event ("Portrait - young Polish artists in a New Europe", City Hall, London, June 2007). My pictures are on Fliker website, I run the project "Zapiski" ("Daily Notes") and this website. Welcome.
